The safe week uses the same chore loop every day. Strange events are extra. Nothing published assigns those events to a fixed day number, so do not wait for Day 4 or Day 6 before you start checking the house.

Do these chores in order

  1. Take cat food out of the cupboard and put it in Whiskers' bowl.
  2. Open the laundry-room door if it is shut. Once the litter box has been used, clean it with the small minigame.
  3. Pick up the laser pointer in the living room. Play until the blue bar fills. Aiming the dot too far away restarts that bar. A tight circle is a different, bad outcome: see Blackhole.
  4. Open the front door, go outside, and take the mail from the mailbox.
  5. Come back in. Close the front door and lock it. Those are two checks, not one.
  6. Open the refrigerator, take out the microwave dinner, and close the fridge.
  7. Warm the dinner in the microwave and eat it.
  8. Clear any strange event that is active. Use the anomaly responses.
  9. Sleep only after the list above is done.

Close the door, then lock it

Sleeping with the front door open is Cya Later: Whiskers tries to leave. Sleeping without locking the front door is Intruder Alert: someone gets in. One written checklist line is garbled ("look the door"). The two ending triggers are the clear version of that step.

Dinner uses the microwave

The meal steps are fridge, microwave dinner, close the fridge, microwave, eat. Starved is sleeping without eating. Cold as Ice is sleeping with the fridge left open. Fired is a separate check: sleeping with the stove left on, even though the meal itself is not written as a stove recipe.

A missing mailbox is not a missed mail chore

If the mailbox is simply there, skipping it and sleeping leads to Evicted. If the mailbox is gone and the outside is darkness, that is The Void. Close all the blinds. Do not treat the darkness as a normal mail run, and do not sleep while it is still outside.

Bedtime pass

Before you sleep, confirm the bowl was filled, the litter minigame was finished, the blue laser bar filled without a tight spin, the mail was collected, the front door is shut and locked, the fridge is shut, the stove is off, dinner was eaten, the TV is not being left on, and no anomaly sign is still active. Then use the bed.

Skipping one required chore and sleeping is a reported way to leave the good route. Missing food, litter, play, mail, dinner, the lock, or a shut door each has its own named outcome. Change only one of those when you are hunting a specific badge.

Are there codes?

No code has been confirmed. Lists that promise Cat Treats, gems, bows, or cat breeds do not match the tasks and endings documented for this experience, so they are not listed here.

Do the scares happen on fixed days?

No published schedule assigns the eight strange events to Day 1 through Day 7. The daily chores stay mostly the same. Deal with whatever sign is actually in the house before bed. A single week may not show every event.
